Colleges & Universities
Washington and the surrounding areas of Peoria and East Peoria boast some of the most incredible educational facilities for continuing education in the state including:

	Illinois Central College located in East Peoria, only 2 minutes away from Windsong Estates, ICC has over 7,000 full or part time students offering degrees in art & sciences, engineering, general education and applied sciences. A wonderful institution we’re proud to call our neighbors.
	Bradley University located a short drive away in Peoria, has five different college divisions including business administration, communication and fine arts, education and health services, engineering and technology, and liberal arts and sciences. With more than six thousand students on campus and a wide range of sports activities as well, this institution is a fixture in the Central Illinois community.
	University Of IL College of Medicine at Peoria with it’s excellent medical program right in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Peoria.
	Midstate College offers a wide range of interesting education training programs including aviation training, travel and tourism, hotel management and many other attractive training programs with its’ students careers in mind.

Healthcare

Our area is home to three prestigious hospitals, Methodist Medical Center of Illinois, OSF St. Francis Medical Center and Proctor Hospital. Each of these institutions are constantly researching and improving their treatments for patients of all ages.
